Saw the first Agm for the breed club, Minutes to follow of what was voted on and brought forward.
the AGM followed our Foxhound welfare Breed show, which has been running for 5 years.
we allow any Foxhound Pack, or KC to enter.
Our wonderful understanding judge was Sue Harrison from Aspencade Bloodhound Kennel
Her best in show Was North Staffordshire Chairman. best veteran and Rbis was Ir Champion Dazzleby Daydream at a fabulous 13years old, best puppy was Dazzleby Chorister, Best broken coated was Fiona's Craven, beagle was Janets Murphy,
and hound judge would like to take home was Allan and Donna's Bitch Ali,

Judging the Foxhound Welfare Show
Thankyou for inviting me to judge at this lovely venue and making me feel so welcome.
I was uncertain of what was awaiting me on this damp Autumn morning. I had read the Kennel Club's standard for the expected conformation of the “show” Foxhound and as a judge of Bloodhounds felt confident that I could spot a “good hound” . I was in for an educational surprise.
The rescue hounds coming from various backgrounds came in many varying sizes and different appearances. It was pleasing to see the obvious devotion that these hounds had for their owners and although not used to parading around a ring and being looked over by a stranger were very obliging.
My Best in Show winner was a beautiful hound who had wonderful fluid movement and performed impeccably and was no stranger to the show ring.
I was privileged to receive a copy of Jan Gambier's book 'Bracken, A Free Spirit' which I have read twice already and giggled over and associated with. She was selling this on behalf of the rescue fund and is a book that all dog lovers should read. The saying 'that has happened to me' springs to mind all the way through this book.
I enjoyed my day immensely and felt that I had benefited from the experience. My thanks goes to all who made my day so memorable.
